Cardiff Met Archers
About the Team.
The Cardiff Met Archers are a Welsh basketball club, based in the Cardiff City, South Wales. The Archers began in 1999 as the student led university basketball team at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. The club run 19 teams that range from under 8s through to seniors as well as the only Welsh side competing in the Women's British Basketball League the highest level of women's basketball in the United Kingdom.
Thinking Process.
Hence of the name Archers I tried to keep the mark simple and concise. I've stayed away from the idea of a bowman / archer concept as I thought its way to used and wouldn't make the team stand out. So, I went with the idea of playing with the letters C & A where the letter C was taking the shape of a bow.
Because the mark was so simple I've added a slanted look to invoke motion / speed .
